End of Roll - PCGS MS64+ Ex. Aurora Borealis - “Cowardly Lion”
CHANGE: This coin is a spectacular example of end-of-roll toning, caused by paper folds covering the surface of this coin as it sat for decades in an undisturbed roll of silver dollars. These coins are extremely difficult to find with bright colors, so the fact that this one is neon is quite amazing. Former PCGS President Don Willis called this coin one of his absolute favorites when it came up in a Legend Regency Auction in 2018. I was fortunate enough to purchase it at that time, and it has since been a treasured part of the Across the Spectrum Collection.
